InsoConsult is an independent M&A advisory firm specialised in corporate transactions. The focus of our activities lies on the reorganization and the selling process of distressed companies.
Our main task is the sale of companies in restructuring phases or insolvency proceedings. As distressed M&A experts, our core competency is the organization and implementation of structured investor processes which are the foundation for successful restructuring results in insolvency proceedings (standard insolvency proceedings, insolvency plan or ESUG proceedings).

Junior Consultant (d/f/m)
Your tasks
- Analysis of markets and industries
- Research and analysis of companies
- Assisting with preparation of company profiles and information memoranda
- Identification and Communication with potential investors
- Support with preparation as well as implementation of due diligence appointments
Your profile
- Degree in Business administration or similar
- Preferred major field of study: Controlling, Accounting, Finance, Banking
- Ideally first practical experiences in M&A / Corporate Finance / Auditing / tax counseling
- Enjoying challenging and multi-facetted teamwork
- Structured and analytical mindset as well as strong personal initiative
- Open-mindedness and strong communication skills
- Very good knowledge in English and Microsoft Office

Senior-Consultant/Project Manager(d/f/m)
Your tasks
- Management of distressed M&A-projects and teams
- Organization and implementation of investor processes
- Assessment of corporate planning and restructuring concepts
- Negotiations with potential buyers
- Development of business relations to multipliers and project acquisition
- Management and training of consultants and working students
Your profile
- Degree in Business administration or similar with an above average graduation
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the fields of M&A / Corporate Finance / Auditing / tax consulting
- Experience as project manager
- Relevant network of contacts (insolvency administrators/ banks / restructuring advisors / tax advisors)
- Profound knowledge of business models, market analysis and corporate figures
- Combination of entrepreneurial spirit, analytical and structured working method as well as “hands-on mentality”
- Social skills and leadership experience
- Very good English skills, preferably another language
- Knowledge of German insolvency law is an advantage
